Shetland Rare Yellow Warbler -4th day

The rare American Yellow warbler was present again at the Orca Hotel in Hoswick, now here for a fourth day

Only around 20 birders present in really good light for a change. The other photos so far taken at ISO10,000 so today much better at ISO800 so better quality

The bird was also much closer but still very active but at least there was less leaves on the trees. It was still  showing well so a big bonus but it was cold and it had snowed a few hours easier.

Tracking this fast moving bird through the trees , with leaves now having turned yellow was still challenging.

It moved around the trees and bushes for a good 45 mins before flying off, but returned again in the afternoon, a bonus was the 12 Waxwings which flew over along with a Grey Wagtail

It was a big pull and two birders had come up for the day travelling on the ferry which arrived at 7pm and they were back on tonight's ferry setting off at 5.30pm, at least it was not as bad as the other night with winds around 74mph.
