Sheffield Peregrines

We returned to Sheffield for a holiday and couldn't resist a look at the Peregrines in the city centre up at the University

They have had 3 young again, it makes you wonder where they go when the adults have had enough
Most of the action was high up and they stayed there while the adults came in with a feral pigeon

Its a difficult place to capture returning birds as it has trees around the edge and you cannot see any approaching birds

The only way to know the adults are returning is to listen to the young calling, but you still don't know which direction they will arrive

Lots of other birds around including a pair of young Mistle Thrush

several Magpies also along with Gt and Blue tit, Goldfinch, Wren and a robin
