Rufus Turtle Dove and Yellow Browed Warbler-Shetland

Always good to see Yellow Browed warblers. There has been a few around this year and although i have seen a few this is the first i have managed to photograph.

This one put in an appearance down at Quendale, near the mill

This is the second Rufus turtle Dove i have seen and photographed in Shetland, the other in Lerwick about 5 years ago

This one was far more mobile. The day before it was around the barns and even inside but during my visit it was only briefly at the barn twice but spooked by a tractor
Eventually it was relocated in a field to the north of the mill, the rain started and came in heavy.
It was feeding with a few Rock Doves but was spooked by three low flying Ravens and headed towards the barn
I relocated the bird in a yard above the barn but yet again only for a second or two
