North American -Bufflehead

 

                                                                    Kumlins Gull at Ireland

Bufflehead down at Loch of Hillwell. Originally found on Foula where it stayed a week it finally made

it to the south mainland and Spiggie where it stayed 1/2 hour then completely disappeared for a couple of days

Then back to Loch of Hilllwell where it stayed a short time then it moved south to Scatness before returning to Hilllwell

Great to see this North American Duck, just over 20 records for the UK
